This is the second beauty that Jim and I are introducing for Dr. Wesley Whiteside for 2009. This handsome Dip produces a rich, gold-to-bronze self in a soft, stellar form. He stands 35"-40" tall, and sports colorfully complex blossoms that are 3.5"-4.5" in diameter. He has fully dormant foliage and is lightly fragrant. AND ... this guy is ALSO a VERY-LATE SEASON bloomer for you garden; he starts to burst forth in late August to early September, and blooms strongly each day through to frost; parentage is unknown.
